FAIRVIEW — Funeral service for Esther Schmidt, formerly of Moundridge, Kan., will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, Fairview. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Esther was born April 23, 1934, in Walch, Colo., to Jonas and Ida (Boehs) Schmidt and died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Fairview, Okla.
Esther is survived by Freeman and Janet Schmidt, Tena Leatherman and Louise and Jack Adkins, Emma Schmidt and 19 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Schmidt and Herbert Leatherman.
