Janet Ellen Miller, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 21, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Janet lived a life filled with hard work, cherished moments, and devotion to her family. Janet was the proud owner and operator of Little Miss Clean It, a commercial cleaning business she ran with dedication and care. Her entrepreneurial spirit and attention to detail made her a trusted presence in the community, and her kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Outside of her work, Janet's greatest joy was her family. She adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them, whether it was piecing together puzzles, sharing laughs while fishing, or simply enjoying family gatherings. Janet's passion for puzzles reflected her love for challenges and the satisfaction of seeing things come together, a sentiment she carried into every aspect of her life. She also cherished the time spent with her grandchildren bonding over their shared love of playing PlayStation games together. Janet's warm, loving nature and steadfast commitment to her family and friends will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and determination will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
Janet is survived by her children, Sandy Savill of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Rodney Skaggs and wife Katie of Oklahoma, Janet Hurlburt and husband Justin of Muskogee, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Lorene (Moore) Brownen, sons, Mike and Lance Skaggs, brothers, Harvey Lee "Pat" Brownen and Barry Brownen, and sister, Sue Brownen.
