Fairview Cemetery




Sandra Sue Ingerton, 70, of Fairview, OK, formerly of Enid, OK passed away on Sunday, September 1st, 2013 at Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, OK. Sandra was born July 24, 1943 to Gilliam and Marcella (Hill) Ingerton in Flora, Illinois.

Sandra was a devout born again christian, a very lovable and generous mother, and a good hearted and caring grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived her life devoted to the Lord and her children.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Olivia Smith; one brother, Gilliam Ingerton; She is survived by five sons; Michael Purnell, Paul Frank Purnell, Jason Bryant, Sheridan Swinney, and Keb Butts; nine grandchildren; Haley, Taylor, Jason, Tannor, Trevor, Brandon, Dustin, Kenneth and Kianna; one great-grandchild Charlie;two nephews, Clint Gilliam Smith and Steven Robert Smith;

Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Fairview Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Cliff Mitchem officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com
