February 18, 1932 - May 6, 2020

Graveside services for Peggy (Major) Fettke, 88, of Fairview, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2020 in the Fairview Cemetery. Social Distances will be required. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Peggy Doris Major was born February 18, 1932 in Cheyenne Valley, Oklahoma to Morris Samuel Major and Elsie Mae Major (Gould). She departed this world to her eternal life with Jesus on May 6, 2020.

Peggy attended OSU and graduated from Oklahoma City Business School. She worked many years as an office manager. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved going to sporting events to watch her kids play. She also loved shopping with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a strong supporter of her Fairview Yellow Jackets and OSU Cowboys. Peggy was a member of the Fairview First United Methodist Church.

Peggy is survived by three sons, Robert and Diane Fettke of Wichita, KS; Tom and Tan Fettke of Wichita, KS; Terry Fettke of Enid, OK; one sister, Lois Marie Wiggins of Oklahoma City, OK, ten grandchildren Joshua and Kendahl Fettke, Jessica and Jessica Jo Fettke, Jeremiah and Kyli Fettke, Sarah Fettke, Brian Fettke, Kinedi Fettke, Kolton Felix and four great grandchildren Anastasia Elizabeth De Los Santos, Knox Richard Fettke, Jett Evander Fettke, and JoLee Marion Fettke, also sister-in-law Vada "Blondie" Major.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Elsie Major, husband, Richard Ivan Fettke, brother, Bill Major, and sister, Betty Duhamel.

Memorials can be made to the Fairview Alumni Association or the Major County Historical Society with the Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodians of the funds.
