Henry Denton Fender was born in Clay County, Illinois, September 16, 1862 and departed this life February 11, 1949 at the age of 86 years, 4 months, 26 days. His parents both died when he was quite young.

In 1880 he was united in mariage to Ada Gertrude Lee and to this union three daughters were born, Gracie, Opal and Nellie. This marriage was dissolved.

In 1890 he married Mary Brown and to this union two sons, Heber, Lydia were born. She died on January 8, 1901.

In 1902 Mr. Fender moved to Oklahoma and located in Hennessey, Oklahoma. Later he moved to Fairview where he spent his last years.

He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters, Mrs. Tom Crawford of Canton, Oklahoma, Mrs. Frank Tyner of Waukomis, Oklahoma, one son, Lydia of home, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
