Iris J. Schoonover, age 70, of the Village, died April 2,1994. She was born February 27, 1924 in Drill Virginia. She was a member of the Edmond Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband John of the home; son Mike of Edmond; 2 daughters Carol Snyder of Oklahoma City and Sherry Schoonover of Houston; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Services will be at 10 am Tuesday April 5, 1994 at Edmond Church of Christ with burial in Ames, Oklahoma. The family requests memorials to Westview Boys Home.

A graveside service for John "Billy" Schoonover, 87, of The Village, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, in Ames Cemetery, Ames. Arrangements are by Demuth Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.

He was born April 16, 1921, in Binger and died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann Snyder of Oklahoma City and Sherri Elliott of Guthrie; one son, Michael Schoonover of Edmond; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Westview Boys Home
