Ames Cemetery


Funeral service for Cletus S. Heinrich, 60, 909 E. Locust, will be at 2:30 PM Sunday in the Parker Chapel, south of Ringwood, with the Rev. Harold Brown and the Rev. Lyle Buller officiating. Burial will follow in the Ames Cemetery under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Heinrich died Thursday morning in a local hospital following a short illness. He was born July 21, 1920, at Okeene, and raised in the Okeene and Ames areas. He graduated from Okeene high school, and moved to Enid from Ringwood some 13 years ago.

Heinrich was co – owner of the East Maine Conoco Service Station. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. On April 22, 1942, he married Frances Detrich.

Heinrich was affiliated with the Parker Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; three sons, Dickey, of the home, C. A., Enid, and Ted, Ringwood; four grandchildren; his father, Sam Heinrich, Ringwood; three sisters, Mrs. Clift (Imogene) Harris, Enid, Mrs. Bill (Joyce) Helmer, Gentry, Arkansas, and Mrs. Ted (Shirley) Wiser, California; and three brothers, Robert and Larry, both of Billings, and Gilmore (Pete), Ringwood.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.

Memorials may be made to the Enid Opportunity School with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
