Ames Cemetery



December 20, 1915 - November 5, 1982

Ames – Funeral for Richard M. (Max) Hand, 66, Ames, who died Friday, November 5, 1982 following an apparent heart attack, will be held at 4 PM today in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T. Arnold Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Cemetery.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Division. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the fund.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Jay (Peggy) Boehs, Drummond and Mrs. Mick (Cathy) McDaniel, Pagosa Springs, Colorado; a son, Phil, of the home; seven grandchildren and two great – grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Forrester, Paradise, California; and two brothers, Hubert Hand of Enid and Benton Hand of Ames.
