Ames Cemetery


The graveside service for Leo Grace, 98, Enid, was held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at in the Ames Cemetery. The service was under the guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Leo was born July 26, 1918, in Ringwood, the son of Billy and Winnie (Holland) Grace, and passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, in Enid. Leo attended the Ames school system, graduating from Ames High School with the class of 1937. He married Vera Scott in 1939. She preceded him in passing in 1987. Leo married Willa Mae Woodbury in May of 1992.

Leo farmed most of his life, then worked 25 years for Industrial Iron. He served his country in the United States Army from 1942 to 1946, during World War II.

Leo is survived by his wife, Willa Mae, of Enid; sons, Calvin Grace, of Enid; Tom Grace, of Ashville, N.C.; and Bill Grace, of Enid; step-daughter, Sharon Johnson, of Enid; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Vera, Leo was preceded in passing by his parents; daughter, Judy Grace; two brothers; and one sister.
