Funeral services for Mary Ellen Grace, 96, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Ames Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Mary was born December 25, 1928, to Perry and Minnie (Lozier) Shreve in Meno, Oklahoma, and passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025.
She attended Drummond schools and graduated top of her class.
On February 9, 1949, she married Raymond Grace in Wellington, Kansas. They had two children, Jerry Grace and Teresa Grace. She was in the Woodward square dancing club. She loved to plant a garden and had many plants; she also loved motorcycle riding, camping, and taking trips to Branson each year. She enjoyed going to her grandkids and great-grandkids events, watching OU sports, and Thunder basketball.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Isabelle Grace of Ringwood; grandchildren, Mindy Porter of Enid, J.R. and Lauren Grace of Enid; as well as three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in her death by husband Raymond Grace, son Jerry Grace, granddaughter Maci Grace, three brothers and one sister.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to Ames Cemetery, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as the custodian of the funds.
