November 5, 1966 - February 10, 2019

Memorial services will be held later in the spring or summer of 2019 for John Ray Francis, 52 , of Enid. His ashes will be buried at Ames Cemetery near his parents at that time.

He was born in Enid on November 5, 1966 to Joseph C. "Joe" and Florence "Deloris" Stiles Francis and died at his residence in Enid on February 10, 2019.

John attended Enid Schools and had worked in the oilfield his entire adult life. When he was not working , most likely he could be found at a race track or with a fishing pole at one of the local ponds. He never met a stranger and would pester anyone who would stand still and take it. Even though he could be a pain sometimes, he had a heart of gold and would give his last dollar or the shirt off his back to anyone who asked or he felt needed it.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Deloris Francis ; his grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Joseph Francis; daughter, Brittany Uhlman ; his brother Carl Wayne (Roberta) Francis of Enid ; sister, Jo Dean (Francis) Aguirre of San Antonio, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by a very special friend, Tonya Logsdon.

He was also blessed to have great friends , many like family , too numerous to mention.

Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
