Tuesday, January 12th, 1954 - Saturday, October 15th, 2022

Funeral services for Doug Crawford will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Faith Center Fellowship in Meno with Pastors Vernon Lee, Bill Burch and Bryan Laramore officiating. Burial will follow in Ames Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-7pm. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Douglas Neal Crawford was born January 12, 1954 in Enid to Dwight and Dorothy (Platt) Crawford, and passed away October 15, 2022 in Ames. He grew up in the Ames area on the family homestead. Doug graduated from Ames High School class of 71. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Education. He married Linda Snodgrass in 1975. Doug worked as a teacher, coach and farmer. He was also inducted into the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2009. Doug attended Ames Baptist Church.

Doug is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Crawford; children, Audry Beck and husband Ryan, Jeff Crawford and wife Holly and Jessica Warrior and husband Justin; grandchildren, Riley, Britton and Avery Beck, Easton, Enslie and Embrie Crawford, Lennox and Sutton Warrior; siblings, Darrell Crawford and wife Deanna and Darinda Edwards and husband Bill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
