Services for Norma Irene McCage Young, 84, of Thackerville were Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Thackerville. Officiating was Murray McMurray, minister of the Thackerville Community Church of Christ.

Born July 5, 1915, at Thackerville, Mrs. Young died July 12, 1999, in the Gainesville Memorial Hospital. She ws the daughter of Occie Allen and Bettie Elizabeth Martin McCage.

She and C.A. "Buddy" Young were married February 27, 1931, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Young had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Thackerville for 73 years.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lufern Young of Thackerville and Bill Young of Weatherford, Texas; a sister-in-law, Lucille McCage, also of Thackerville; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery directed by Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bob Young, Joe Young, Billy Charles Young, Royce Young, Rick Young and Chuck Scott.
