Services for former Marietta resident, Henri Yancy, 72, of Dallas, Texas, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, at St. Luke Baptist Church.

Mrs. Yancy was born December 9, 1929, at Burneyville, the daughter of Vernis and Inez Gaines Jones. She died Saturday, March 2, 2002.

She had been a resident of Dallas for the past 42 years, and was employed by Mostex Inc. for 10 years, retiring from Fujitsu in 1995.

Survivors include five daughters, Carolyn Wrightsil, Mae Pearl Scott, Patsy Williams, Vernessa Battle and Wanda Wilmore, all of Dallas; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Yancy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vernez Anderson; three sons, Donald, Harvey Jr. and Mark Williams.

Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Dallas, under the direction of Thrash Funeral Home, Dallas.
