Services for Javier Jordan Wolfe, 4, of Leon, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, at the Eastman Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy May officiating.
He was born March 22, 1999, at Ardmore, the son of David Ray and Manuela Flor Pena Wolfe. He died Saturday, October 25, 2003, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
He had lived in Marietta most of his life before moving to Leon with his family about seven months ago. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing sports with his dad. He was enrolled in the four-year-old program at the Big Five Headstart in Marietta. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his father and mother, David and Manuela Wolfe of the home; one sister, Jalen Rae Wolfe of the home; grandparents, Larry and Vera Wolfe of Leon, Adolfo Pena of Jimtown, and Flora Pena of Marietta; great-grandmothers, Betty Wolfe of Marietta, Rosario Pena of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Nennie Ramon of Leon; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Calvin Wolfe.
Pallbearers were Espeedy Pena, Jesus Pena, Adolfo Pena, Jimmy Pena, Felix Pena and Joe Pena. Honorary pallbearers were friends in the Big Five Headstart Four-Year-Old Program.
Interment was in the Leon Cemetery, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
