Graveside services for E.M. Wilson, 84, were at 4:00 p.m. Thursday in Lakeview Cemetery with David Girdner officiating.
Mr. Wilson was born October 8, 1910, in Marietta and died May 9, 1995, in the North Runnels Hospital, Winters, Texas.
He married Lottie Maude Hale on April 19, 1930, in Marietta. Mr. Wilson moved from Wilson to Winters in 1968. He had been employed by Walsh-Watts Oil Company for 31 years, retiring in 1980. Mr. Wilson was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Wilson of the home in Winters; two sisters, Violet Batson and Hazel Cochran of marietta; three brothers, Melvin Wilson of Jay, David Wilson of Tallahassee, Florida, and Howard Wilson of Locust Grove; a grandson, Max Darwin and Patty Long of Ballinger, Texas; and three great-granddaughters, Susan, Sarah and Megan Long of Ballinger.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a daughter, Claudia Darlene Long on September 17, 1991.
Services were under the direction of the Winters Funeral Home.
