Services for Carl Taylor, 65, of the Greenville community, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 27, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, with the Rev. Max Clark officiating.
Mr. Taylor was born December 27, 1936, at Sippo, the son of Vernon and Lennie Snow Taylor. He died Monday, June 24, 2002, at his home.
He attended school at Burneyville and Courtney and graduated from Greenville High School in 1956. Mr. Taylor made his home in Pinehurst, Idaho, from 1958 until moving to the Greenville community in 1979. He retired from the Marietta Bakery after 20 years. He and the former Emily G. McAnally were married April 20, 1957, in Ardmore. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Taylor of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Sconce of Marietta, Kathy and Robert Lewis of Springer and Karla and David Bell of Marietta; a brother, George Taylor of Noble; a sister, Dorothy Faye Coats of Ardmore; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents.
Serving as pallbearers were David Bell, Robert Lewis, Kenneth Peery, Clinton Holt, Leroy Tenpenny and Charles Willis.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice in care of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, 100 East Main, Marietta, OK 73448.
