No services are planned for Leona L. Lee Slater of Thackerville who died June 25, 1999, at her residence at the age of 55.

Mrs. Slater was born October 27, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Herbert and Lucille Welding Terrill. A homemaker, Mrs. Slater had lived at Thackerville the past 11 years moving there from Georgia. She and Walter Slater were married September 11, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Slater of the home; mother, Mrs. Lucille McCage of Thackerville; a son, Clifford Slater of Thackerville; a daughter, Leigh Brackett of Buford, Georgia; three brothers, Duane Terrill of Santa Barbara, California, Ronnie Terrill of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Carey Terrill of Redding, California, and three grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Kennedy Funeral Home.
