Services for Bob Stewart were Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Enville Community Church with Rev. Don Williams, pastor, officiating.
Born October 11, 1902, in Belton, Texas, Mr. Stewart died October 18, 1992, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 90. He was the son of Robert Larry and Lucy Lowry Stewart.
A resident of the Enville community most of his life, Mr. Stewart was a retired farmer. He married Inez Watson September 29, 1923, in Ardmore. Mr. Stewart was of the Pentecostal Holiness belief.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Inez Stewart of the home in the Enville community; a son, Jerry Stewart of Enville; two daughters and son-in-law, Opal Mae and Von D. Lemons of Enville and Geraldine Bean of Wynnewood; a brother, Roy Stewart of Denison, Texas; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by six brothers, four sisters, and two infant sons, Bobby Gene Stewart and Jimmy Dale Stewart.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Grandsons and great-grandson served as casket bearers. Honorary pallbearers were Thurman Vinson, Lee L. Lemons, Bobby Lemons, Melvin Chaney, Gilbert Willis, Jim Minyard, and J.C. Harris.
