Services for Shirley Ann Rasor, 67, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 22, at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Rusty Brock officiating.
Mrs. Rasor was born November 26, 1934, in Ardmore, the daughter of Walter and Ruby Mae Fine Richerson. She died Wednesday, December 19, 2001, in a Humble, Texas, hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Rasor was a 1952 graduate of Ardmore High School. She and Elton Marion Rasor were married December 26, 1959, in Ardmore, and they had made their home in Onalaska, Texas, since moving there in 1992 from Houston, Texas. Mrs. Rasor had been a nurse and an office manager for a Houston law firm.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Sherry Marie Yellott of Houston, Linda Lee Wilson of Crosby, Texas, and Lauri Ann Sinclair of Bastrop, Texas; four grandchildren, William Yellott, Jacob Wilson, John Wilson and Brian Sinclair; two great-grandsons, Sidney Daniel Wilson and Keagan Wilson; a sister, Helen Richerson Vann of Kingston; and a very close cousin, Jim Fine of Ardmore.
Mrs. Rasor was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, LaDell McClendon and Jo King; a brother, Burton Richerson; and a close cousin, Bill Fine.
Services were under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
