Memorial services for Roudet "Rudy" Rowland, 72, of Marietta, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with James Moffett officiating.
Mr. Rowland was born April 1, 1930, in Carrizozo, New Mexico, the son of Floyd C. and Lila Clara Robbins Rowland.He died Thursday, June 13, 2002, in Mercy Health-Love County Hospital, Marietta.
A resident of Love County since 1974, Mr. Rowland owned and operated a photography studio and was also a car salesman.He and Patricia Lee "Patti" Brown were married April 3, 1970, in Lawton.Mr. Rowland also served in the Military Police Detachment of the U.S. Army from April 1947 to August 1948. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Patti" Rowland of the home; and a brother, William L. Rowland of Tulsa.
Mr. Rowland was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harvey Rowland and Kenneth Rowland; and a sister.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. J.T. O'Connor, Dee Higgins and Mike Hobson.
Services were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 1514 Meadow Lane, Ardmore, OK 73401.
