Services for Hubert M. “Red” Renick, 79, of Kingsville, Texas, were Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Lebanon Church of Christ. Officiating were Doye Willis and Bro. Cole Tidwell.
Born January 13, 1920, in Love County, Mr. Renick died April 29, 1999, east of Hugo. He was the son of Claude M. and Mary Ellen Wainscott Renick.
Raised in the Legate Community, Mr. Renick later lived and worked in the California shipyards during the war. He also lived in Texas and Arkansas. Mr. Renick was retired from the oil field as a seismographer. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Claude Renick of Poncha Springs, Colorado, Lonnie and Mickey Renick of Heavener and Bob and Mary Renick of Poteau; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Renick was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Interment was in the Legate Cemetery directed by Kennedy Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Carey Renick, Kenny Renick, Brad Renick, Mike Renick, Tim Olive and Luke Renick.
