Graveside services for Remelle McKinney, 84, were Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Ed Elswick.
Born March 31, 1912, at Canyon, Texas, the daughter of Bart and Mabel Sherman Cluck, Mrs. McKinney died February 21, 1997, in the Lake Country Manor Nursing Home, Marietta.
A resident of Marietta since 1930, she was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta. She married Weldon McKinney November 11, 1931, in Canyon, and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1986.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Edna McKinney of Marietta; two sisters, Polly White of Tuscon, Arizona, and Evelyn Massey of Austin, Texas; two grandsons, Michael McKinney and Robert McKinney; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
