Graveside services for Opal Faye McMillan, 76, of Ardmore, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, in the Rubottom Cemetery with Sister Parlee Russell officiating.
Mrs. McMillan was born February 24, 1924, at Rubottom, the daughter of Phillip M. and Alice Reed Bucher. She died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at her home in Ardmore.
She had lived in the Ardmore area for the past 30 years. Mrs. McMillan was a homemaker and enjoyed reading. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Beverly McMillan of Ardmore; and two nieces, Mary and Martha Bucher, both of Rubottom.
Mrs. McMillan was preceded in death by her husband, Audie McMillan in 1987; five brothers, Benjamin B. Bucher, Sam Bucher, Marion Bucher, Walter McBride and Henry McBride; and a sister, Minnie Bucher.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Ronald Gunter, L.C. Loving, Bennie Cartwright and Don Musser.
Services were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
