Services for Donald Kirk, 57, were Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Westside Baptist Church in Hanesville, Louisiana.
Mr. Kirk was born in Foreman, Arkansas, the son of David Morgan and Lucille Madden Kirk, and died February 22, 1995, in M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas.
A former resident of Sherman, Texas, he made his home in Homer, Louisiana. Mr. Kirk married Joyce Jodie McBroom July 24, 1969, in Durant. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was employed in the high-line construction business and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joyce Kirk of the home in Homer; five daughters, LaWanda Smith of Howe, Belinda Gilmore of Homer, Vicky White of Porum, Tandy Gage of Henderson and Belinda Faye Bailey of Wetumka; three sons, Larry Kirk of Sherman, Jimmy Kirk of Greenville and Randy Kirk of Checotah; three sisters, Paulene Rex of Gainesville, Texas, Corene Vaughan of Clovis, New Mexico, and LaWanda Hume of Marietta; two brothers, Frank Kirk of Norman and Willie Raymond Kirk of Clarksville, Arkansas; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Arlington Cemetery in Homer under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne.
