Graveside services for James "J.J." Johnson, 46, of Thackerville, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, in the Petersburg Cemetery, with the Rev. Leo Taylor officiating.
Mr. Johnson was born December 8, 1955, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Eugene and Elsie Carol Taylor Johnson. He died Saturday, December 7, 2002, in Marietta.
He and Trudy Parlin were married October 8, 1979, in Gainesville, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Trudy Johnson of the home; three daughters, Janetta McCage of Oklahoma City; Noel Linderman and Staci Bridwell of Thackerville; two sons, Darrell Linderman of Keller, Texas, and Bucky Linderman of Marietta; four granddaughters, Kristi McCage, Lindsay Linderman, Darsey Bridwell and Stephanie Linderman; four brothers, Ronnie Thomason and Donnie Thomason of Gainesville, Farlin Thomason of Wilson and Earnest Johnson of Lindsay; two half-brothers, Rick Thomason and Willie Thomason, both of Ripley, Tennessee; and three half-sisters, Debra Bowers, Patsy Land and Toni Cannon, all of Ripley.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; and a half-sister, Sharon Thomason.
Pallbearers were Darrell Linderman, Bucky Linderman, Randy Voyles, David West, Travis Thomason and Anthony Woods.
Services were under the direction of Spivey's Reser Funeral Home of Ringling.
