William Eugene "Gene" Goldsmith of Seligman, Arizona, was born April 22, 1932, in Portales, New Mexico, the son of William Taylor and Edna Lottie (Fields) Goldsmith. He died March 4, 2001, at the Flagstaff Memorial Hospital in Flagstaff,Arizona.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons and their families, Cary and Paula Goldsmith of Kingman, Arizona, and their daughter Amber and Tim and Barbara Goldsmith of Seligman and their children, Tiffany and Levi; a
great-grandson, Kaleb York, who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his mother, Amber Goldsmith; three sisters, Marie Bollen, Minnie Faye Butler Luman and Reba Hendricks; a brother, M.T. Goldsmith of Kingman; two aunts, Grace Brown of New Mexico and Lucille Wiley of Golden Valley, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
