Services for Trevenor Leon "T.L." Evans will be Friday, December 17, at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Boomfield, New Mexico, with Joe Bnce, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Evans was born in Dora, New Mexico, on January 13, 1919, and died at his home in Bloomfield on December 12, 1999. He was the son of Lee and Mary Alzena Evans.
Mr. Evans retired from El Paso Natural Gas after 23 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Aurette "Toots" Evans; his children/grandchildren, Shirley and John Curtis, Wanette and Roy Bausch, Jesse and Louella Evans, Lee and Pat Evans, Doug and Lore Mize, Tandra and Eddie Malcom, Tom and Maureen Curtis, Dan and Steph Curtis, Brooke Evans, Veronica and Reyes Marin, Christina and Dan Sabol, Kari Bausch, Trevenor "TJ" Evans, Sara Evans, Russell Bausch and Megan Evans; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Evans was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Services are directed by Cope Memorial Chapel, Farmington, New Mexico, with interment in Memory Gardens, Farmington. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities, Lottie Moon with the First Baptist Church, Echo Food Bank or Boy Scout Troop 324 Bloomfield.
Visitation was December 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 West Arrington, Farmington.
