Services for Roscoe "Bud" Digby, 82, of Davis, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, in the Fox Funeral Home Chapel, Davis, with the Rev. Finis Steelman and the Rev. Tommy Higle officiating.
Mr. Digby was born March 26, 1920, in Hennepin, the son of William Drew and Ida P. Hunt Digby. He died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, in the Elmbrook Nursing Home, Ardmore.
He lived in the Davis area until the age of 20, then moved to Dallas. Mr. Digby worked for Chief Freight Lines as a truck driver until his retirement, at which time he returned to Davis. He and Lessie Lurena Kellum were married October 6, 1951, in Sulphur. She preceded him in death May 31, 1992. Mr. Digby belonged to the Teamster Local 745. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davis.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and Sarah Digby of Healdton, Lawrence Wayne and Kim Digby of Marietta, and James Digby of Lone Grove; 10 grand-children and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Digby was also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Shirley Ann Brockington; six sisters and eight brothers.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery, Davis, under the directtion of Fox Funeral Home, Davis.
