Services for Eva Daughrity, 93, of Lubbock, Texas, were at 2:00 p.m. March 15 in Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. L.E. Laing, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Daughrity was born November 15, 1903, in Franklin County, Alabama, and died March 11, 1997, at her residence. She attended Enville schools and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She and H.C. Daughrity were married July 15, 1924, in Marietta, and he preceded her in death on August 11, 1989.
Survivors include two sons, Loyd of Brownfield and Ja. N. of Lake Brownwood; three daughters, Willodene Parker of Houston, Texas, Virginia Tyler of Lubbock and Ann Gardner of Shamrock, Texas; a brother, Gilbert Willis of Enville; a sister, Opal Meeks of Marietta; 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
