Services for Rhoda Elizabeth Cummins, 83, of Marietta, are pending with Kennedy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cummins died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
Survivors include three sons, Henry L. Cummins Sr., Aaron Ray Cummins and James C. Cummins; three daughters, Wanda Cummins, Wilma Baskett and Claudell Stephens; one sister, Hattie Brown; 22 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cummins was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Winfred Cummins on July 12, 1969; a son, Odis Lee Cummins on November 11, 1998; three sisters, five brothers, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Rhoda E. Cummins, 83, of Marietta, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, in the Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W.S. McMurtrey officiating.
Mrs. Cummins was born December 5, 1916, at White Oak, Arkansas, the daughter of John Oliver Sr. and Malinda Elizabeth Dickerson Howe. She died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at Mercy Health Love County, in Marietta.
She had made her home in Love county since 1963. She and Aaron Winfred Cummins were married March 9, 1938, in Checotah. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1969. Mrs. Cummins was a homemaker and also a cook for the Red Rooster Restaurant and the Round House Cafe for several years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, Henry L. Cummins, Sr. of Marietta, Aaron Ray Cummins of Beavers City, Nebraska, and James C. Cummins of Arkansas; three daughters, Wanda Cummins of the home, Wilma Baskett of Grandfield, and Claudell Stephens of Garfield, Arkansas; one sister, Hattie Brown of Kansas City, Kansas; 22 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cummins was also preceded in death by a son, Odis Lee Cummins on November 11, 1998; three sisters, Josie Talley, Ruby Johnson and Ona Hembree; five brothers, Charles Howe, Chester Howe, John O. Howe, Jr., Roy W. Howe and James O. Howe; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Floyd Baker, Carroll Flatt, Mike Sampson, Jonny Hickman, Eugene Howard and David Magee.
Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
