Services for Rosie Crow, 90, of Marietta, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 24, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, with the Rev. Jerry Turner officiating.
Mrs. Crow was born July 5, 1914, in Allen, the daughter of W.H. and Littie May Hughes Burton. She died Tuesday, September 21, 2004, in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore.
A homemaker, Mrs. Crow had been a resident of Love County most of her life. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby G. and Glenda Brown of Marietta and Ed and Debbie Thurman of Ardmore; two daughters and son-in-law, Mary M. Trollinger and Margie M. and Oscar Blanton, all of Ardmore; and a brother and sister-in-law, Joy "Bo" Burton and Zelma Burton of Mannsville.
Mrs. Crow was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Murl Brown, Quentin Thurman and William Bryan Crow; three sons, Donald Jeral Brown, R.B. Brown and Murl Junior Brown; two daughters, Dora Ann Willingham and Alta Faye Green; a brother, Willard Burton; a sister, Viola Buckaloo; a granddaughter; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers were Paul Barber, Robert Hughes, David Willingham, Ray Willingham, Harold Green, Gerald Blanton and Stephen Comer. Honorary pallbearers were staff members at Lake Country Nursing Center.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
