Memorial services for Ola Lorene "Sis" Caldwell will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Caldwell was born May 17, 1917, at Leon, the daughter of Jessie B. and Maggie Reed Mapp, and died April 8, 1996, in the McCurtain Memorial Hospital, Idabel, at the age of 78.
A homemaker, Mrs. Caldwell had lived in Broken Bow for the past five years. She married Dennis "Toad" Caldwell in September 1938 in Ardmore, and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1974. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Caldwell on July 9, 1991; and a brother, Barney Mapp on October 29, 1991.
She is survived by five sons, Jesse Caldwell of Valliant, D.C. Caldwell of the home at Broken Bow, Glenn Caldwell of Oregon, Larry Caldwell of Fresno, California, and Jolly Caldwell of Dustin; a daughter, Lana McDaniel of Bastrop, Louisiana; a brother, Ulys Mapp of Jimtown; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
