Services for Lillie (Hull) Coyle, 82, of Marietta, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, at the Church of Christ, Marietta, with Bro. Travis Huffman officiating.
Mrs. Coyle was born February 24, 1922, at Oswalt, the daughter of Mose and Maggie McGue Hull. She died Saturday, September 4, 2004, in Wynnewood.
She had been a resident of Love County most of her life. She and Raymond C. Coyle were married in Marietta on November 27, 1943. Mrs. Coyle retired after 31 years of teaching. During her tenure as a teacher, she taught in the school systems at Jimtown, Batson, Orr, Lone Grove and Leon. Mrs. Coyle was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond C. Coyle of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Elray and Jo Coyle of Burneyville; a daughter and son-in-law, Raemona and Louis Perry of Wynnewood; a brother, William "Chick" Hull of Marietta; a sister, Hazel Goins of Tishomingo; two grandsons, three granddaughters; three great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters.
Mrs. Coyle was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Frank, Spooks, Dick, Wesley, Jack and Doe Hull; and two sisters, Sis Morton and Dutch Allison.
Pallbearers were Terry Hull, Mitch Hull, David Hull, Dale Hull, Scott Coyle, Robby Coyle, Michael Coyle and Blake Coyle. Honorary pallbearers were Oma Ruth Davis, Duane Hicks, J.C. Carlile, P.A. Hartman, Mickey Locke, Burl Bone, Pete Jordan, Claude Brannan and all of her school children.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
