Graveside services for Jackie Edward Bruce were conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Jimmy Royal.

Born July 19, 1948, in Love County, Mr. Bruce died February 5, 1995, at his home in Ardmore at the age of 46. He was the son of Lawrence and Gracie Hughes Bruce.

Mr. Bruce was employed in the construction business and also had served in the Army.

Survivors include a son, Jackie Bruce, Jr. of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Yolanda Royal of Ardmore and Shalena Bruce of Duncan; three brothers, D.R. Bruce and Billy Bruce of Gainesville, Texas, and Herman Bruce of Marietta; two sisters, Vera Mae Thorton of Wilburton and Barbara Blevins of Houston; and three grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home.
