Services for Elizabeth P. Byford, 70, were at 2:00 p.m. February 18 in the Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Ron Stough officiating.
Mrs. Byford was born July 26, 1924, in Walters, the daughter of Ernest and Annie Leona Campbell Curry, and died February 15, 1995, in Waldron, Arkansas. She graduated from Burneyville High School in 1942 and married Troy Willis Byford in Henrietta, Texas, on June 18, 1949. A homemaker, Mrs. Byford was a nursing home employee and a member of Countryside Baptist Church in Comanche.
She is survived by a son, Lindell Byford of Bellaire, Texas; two daughters, Virginia Reed of Waldron and Patricia Thomas of Quinlan, Texas; a brother, Harold Curry of Duncan; a sister, Mary Jean Lewis of Gainesville, Texas; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Byford was preceded in death by her husband on October 31, 1985.
Interment was in Fairlawn Cemetery.
