Graveside services for Catherine Jewell Barker, 47, of Pauls Valley, were held at 5 p.m. Monday, April 23, at New Rest Haven Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas, with the Rev. John Sconce, minister of Shady Dale Baptist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Barker was born September 25, 1953, in Sherman, Texas, the daughter of Doy and Imogene Barker. She died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Imogene and Gene Schmitz of Thackerville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Connie Barker of Marietta and Shelly and Terri Barker of Thackerville; and an uncle, Bud Cundiff of Thackerville.

Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her father, Doy Barker; grandparents, Shelley and Jewel West; and two aunts, Anna Belle Mathews and Wanda Cundiff.

Services were under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home in Gainesville.
