Services for Augusta Blair will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the St. John Primitive Baptist Church, Burneyville, with Bro. Willie McGaskey, minister, officiating.
Born May 2, 1914, Mrs. Blair died January 1, 1996, in an Oklahoma City hospital following an extended illness. She was a member of the St. John Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Blair and her husband, Moses, operated the Sunset Grill and Cafe in Marietta for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Moses Blair of the home in Marietta; two sons, Mozell Blair of Wichita, Kansas, and Herbert Blair of Oklahoma City; several grandchildren, one of whom she raised, Angela Hubbard; two sisters, Nona McCarroll and Essie Daniels of Oklahoma City; and a step-daughter, Roberta.
Interment will be in the Dunbar Cemetery under the direction of Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home.
