Graveside services for Pansy Margie Ashley were Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Higle, pastor of Marietta's First Baptist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Ashley was born September 15, 1907, at Elmore City, the daughter of William Andrew and Martha Elizabeth Emaline Cloud Head, and died March 1, 1991, in Presbyterian Hospital, Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Ashley had made her home in Marietta for the past 35 years, moving here from Wynnewood. She married F.A. "Doe" Ashley August 27, 1923, in Elmore City. She was a housewife and member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alfred "Ace" and Mary Ashley of Tulsa; a daughter, Oretha Tomkins of Oklahoma City; a brother, James Howell Head of Wynnewood; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ashley was preceded in death by her husband, Doc Ashley, on December 3, 1988.
Arrangments were under the direction of Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
