Born June 2, 1907, in Easterland, Texas, the son of Charlie and Jessie Bowles Robinson, Mr. Robinson died December 12, 1992, in All Saints Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas.
A retired motel manager, Mr. Robinson had lived in Fort Worth for 34 years. He married Madge Powell in Gainesville, Texas, on December 19, 1935. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Marietta Masonic Lodge and the Leon Baptist Church. He attended the Faith Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
He is survived by his wife, Madge V. Robinson of the home in Fort Worth; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray and Linda Robinson of Fort Worth; a daughter and son-in-law, Claudell and Jack Higgins of Marietta; a brother, Ervin Robinson of Azle, Texas; a sister, Avis Smith of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy
Funeral Home with interment in the Leon Cemetery.
Assisting as
pallbearers were Ray Fleming, Buddy Ashcraft, Hal Franklin, Mike
Parker, Pat Parker, and Hack Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were
Lyndon Parker, Tommy Ingram, Stanley Fleming, Nathan Snyder, and Bob Klause.
