Memorial services for Betty Louise “Mom B” Morse Gilbert, 62, of Ardmore will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11, in the Leon Cemetery with Reverend John Sconce officiating.

Born December 6, 1952 in Orange County, California, the daughter of Oca Mae Whitworth and Glenn Dale Bilyeu, she died Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Medford. Betty and Bodie Gilbert were married at Red River near Leon in 1989, and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2010. She worked at Marietta Sportswear and also at a group home for special needs adults.

In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Shannon Swanbeck; son-in-law, Jonathan Boatner; and stepfather, Claud Carlile.

Survivors include her mother Oca Carlile of Marietta; two daughters, Kellie Brokaw and husband Matthew of Ardmore and Alina Boatner and Jesse Rushing of Marietta; brother, Bill Kelley and wife Sue of Burneyville; special sister-in-law, Cindy Gilbert of Ardmore; three grandchildren, Joseph Allen Boatner, Megan Carlie Preston, and Jesse James Rushing, Jr.; and a special friend, Carolyn Tucker.
