Graveside services for Nita Clough, 74, of Marietta were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 19 in the Leon Cemetery with Johnny Young officiating.
 
Born February 21, 1947 at Leon, the daughter of Ray and Helen Loree Fox Caldwell, she died Monday, August 16, 2021 at Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
 
Nita was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of the Leon High School Pioneer Class of 1965. She worked as a Love County dispatcher for 18 years, then the Chickasaw Nation as an administrative assistant for 21 years before retiring. Nita was a member of the Leon Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching baseball, cooking shows, and murder mysteries. Nita's greatest love was her family, especially knowing everything about her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Helen Caldwell; granddaughter, Shelbi Kirk; and sister, Elaine Jones.

Survivors include sons, Stacy Clough and wife Missie of Ringling and Bo Clough and wife Kara of Burneyville; daughter, Misti Kirk of Marietta; sister, Oleta Foster of Marietta; 10 grandchildren, Brad Kirk, Tucker Kirk, Staci Beville, Neely Clough, Jaden Clough, Mason Clough, Bailey Reese Clough, Hunter Clough, Colton Clough, and Clay Clough; three great-grandchildren, Zoe Beville, Dawson Beville, and Jordyn Clough; special niece, Loree Jones of Marietta and her children, Skyler Guerrero and Lainey Jones; and nephew, Chris Foster of Thackerville and his children, Cole and Wyatt.
 
Serving as pallbearers were Brad Kirk, Tucker Kirk, Colton Clough, Jaden Clough, Mason Clough, Skyler Guerrero, Chris Foster, Derrick Gray, and X-Man Guerrero.
