JoAnna began this life on March 5, 1942, in Dallas, TX the daughter of Tony and Roberta (Ham) Morale.

JoAnna was a very hardworking and dedicated woman. She started and ran her own housekeeping business for several years in the are. She also was a devout Christian woman and dedicated member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. 
 
Whether in church, while working, or around the house, JoAnna loved singing worship music. She also loved trips to the thrift store as well as some of her other favorite shopping locations. JoAnna also loved cooking for family get togethers. She loved cooking so much that she wrote her own cookbook called The Family Mustard Seed. It included several family favorite recipes. Many things brought great joy to JoAnna's life, but maybe none so much as spending cherished time with her grandchildren.
 
JoAnna was preceded in death by her parents; children, Anthony Hertzler, Adrian Englehardt, and Holli Hughes; grandson, Joe Lopez; great-granddaughter, Ariana Muncy; and sister, Toni Smith.

Those left to cherish JoAnna's memory are her daughters, Theresa Hicks of Legate and Penny Richter and husband Dan of Whitesboro, TX; grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Anthony Lopez, Ricky Ramos, Jeremiah Ramos, Tabitha Cabers, Ashley Hertzler, Michelle McKelvy, David Lopez, Tony Hertzler, Bobbie Jo Hertzler, Sasha Englehardt, Cody Englehardt, Autumn Englehardt, Destiny Smeltzer, Billy Stewart, Jessica Hughes, Dakota Stewart, and Brandon Hicks; great-grandchildren, Jodi Clark, Sierra McKelvy, Kyla Lopez, Joshua Berbeugge, Tatyaina Marshall, Tristan Lopez, Tyler McKelvy, Lahaunna Dutton, Gage Clark, Lance Springer, Jordan Lopez, Halie Muncy, Braxton Hertzler, Jadence Hertzler, Joseph Englehardt, Serenity Englehardt, Aiden Lopez, Grant Ramos, Kylie Clark, Heaven Stewart, Israel Stewart, Elijah Mahurn, Isaiah Mahurn, Jonah Mahurn, Angel Mahurn, Serenity Mahurn, Libert Stewart, Emily Stewart, Adrian Engelhardt, Ryan Sneed, Neveah Engelhardt, Carter Hatley, Annabell Hatley, Holli Campbell, Michael McCall, Railee Tuley, Jaxx Tuley, and Emma Cavner; and sisters, Kathi Sherrill and husband Jimmy of Rowlett, TX and Bobbie Cooper and husband Dee of Rowlett.
 
Casket bearers were Nathan Clark, David Lopez, Todd Smeltzer, Gage Clark, Lance Springer, and JR McElvy.
