Graveside services for Artis Rayford Hallum, 82, of Enville were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13 at the Legate Cemetery with Finley Morgan officiating.

Born June 8, 1938 at Carlsbad, New Mexico, the son of Artis Jefferson and Ruth Stevens Hallum, he died Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at his home. A resident of Love County for over 55 years, he and June Marie Luttrell were married December 12, 1958 in Ardmore. Mr. Hallum worked at Petty Seismograph approximately six years, the Little Brownie Cookie Factory 15 years, and then retired from Total Petroleum in Ardmore. He was a peanut farmer for 15 years. He was a quiet, reserved man who was very hard working. He loved to be around his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Marietta.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, June Marie Luttrell Hallum; his parents; two brothers, Clayton and David Hallum; and a sister, Viola Coble.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Clancy and Melissa Hallum and Lee and Christi Hallum, all of Enville; two daughters, Diane Knight of Slaughterville and Debra Hallum of Austin, Texas; eight grandchildren, Kyle Hallum and wife Amanda of Marietta, Johnna Hannah of Lake View, Alabama, Karmia Williams and husband Dewayne of Lexington, Kadassa Steves and husband Josh of Lexington, Kelila Knight of Slaughterville, Jade Richter and husband River of Enville, Catena Hallum, and Bettie Hallum of Enville; 20 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Sue Schwarz of Broken Arrow and Jesse Black of Burneyville.

Serving as pallbearers were Clancy Hallum, Lee Hallum, Kyle Hallum, Josh Steves, Dewayne Williams, and Neil Robnett.
