Born July 1, 1954 at Mt. Vernon,
Texas, the son of Walter Reed and Ruth Smith Watts, he died
Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Falconhead.
He had been a resident of Love
County since August 1991 moving here from Lewisville, Texas. Mr.
Watts had worked as an electrical contractor in construction and was
also previously employed in management at Pizza Hut. He enjoyed
fishing, drag racing and going to the race track, as well as
spending time riding around with his dogs. Known as “Bembo,” he was
considered the class clown. Mr. Watts attended the Lord’s Church in
Ardmore.
Preceding him in death were his
father and a sister, Sheron Wright.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Watts of the home at Falconhead; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Cox Upton and husband, Wesley of Aransas Pass, Texas; a step-daughter, Stacie Cox Vega of Leonard, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde Wright, Jr. and wife, Linda of Point, Texas and George Wright and wife, Cynthia of Clarksville, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Watts Hickox and husband, George of Ft. Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Nathan, Jakob, Matthew, Andrew and Kaleigh; and a nephew, Walter Crockett of Eagle Pass, Texas.
