Services for Edith Maurine Walker, 84, Norman, were Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Primrose Chapel with Pastor Jeff Vernon officiating.

Mrs. Walker was born March 12, 1910, at Arapaho the daughter of R.C. and Daisy Mae Dougherty. She died December 18, 1994, in Norman.

Mrs. Walker married Horace Clay Walker on June 2, 1928, at Oklahoma City. She was active in the Baptist Church for over 30 years and was the organist at Brookhaven Baptist Church. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Sorisis.

Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Walker of Richardson, Texas, and Herbert C. Walker of Irving, Texas; two daughters, Frances King of Norman and Kathryn Jane Carpenter of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Georgia McRee of Gahanna, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Services were directed by Primrose Funeral Service with interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
