Services for John David Teeter were at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with Bro. Weldon Flanagan officiating.

Mr. Teeter was born January 11, 1918, in Jordan, the son of John D. and B. Annie Southwood, and died December 11, 1994, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 76.

Mr. Teeter had made his home in Marietta for 45 years, moving here from Mangum. He had worked for the City of Marietta Street Department.

He is survived by three sisters, Ruby Flanagan and Maud Wilson of Marietta and Hazel Estep of Everman, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

Interment in Lakeview Cemetery was under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Assisting as pallbearers were Travis Givens, Randy Frazier, Bill McGehee, Tim Hicks, Thomas Thompson and David McGehee.
