Bobby began this life on November 9, 1936, in Marietta, the son of Wesley and Beatrice (Smith) Stinson. He attended school at Greenville and graduated with the Class of 1955. Bobby married the love of his life, Bobbie Joanne Cox on August 9, 1957, in Ardmore, OK. The two celebrated more than 65 years of marriage before Joanne's passing in July of 2023.

Over the years, Bobby and Joanne lived in places such as Ardmore, OK, Little Rock, AR, Healdton, OK, Burneyville (Falconhead), OK and Allen, TX. While in Healdton, Bobby was a member of the Church of Christ, a volunteer firefighter, a member of the American Legion, and the civil service director. While in Marietta and Falconhead, he attended the Marietta Church of Christ and was a volunteer firefighter for Falconhead. Bobby not only served his communities, but he also served his country in the US Army and Army Reserves for 20 years.

Bobby worked as a service technician for Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. for 40 years until his retirement. When he wasn't working or volunteering, you might catch him enjoying the outdoors hunting or fishing. He also loved to travel and take vacations with family and friends. Above all, Bobby cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and brothers, Harold Stinson, LaVon Stinson, and Billy Stinson.

Those left to cherish Bobby's memory are his daughters, Tammy Felts of Van Alstyne, TX, and Lori Pool of Marble Falls, TX; son, Barry Stinson of Jenks, OK; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Pat Stinson of Wapanucka, OK.
