Services for Rosa Andrade Sanchez, 73, of Marietta, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 4, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, with Father Jim Sheridan officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

A rosary service will be held Thursday, March 3, at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Born August 30, 1931, at Suchil, Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Julio Andrade and Antonia Aldava, she died Monday, February 28, 2005, at her residence in Marietta.

A resident of Marietta since 1981, Mrs. Sanchez moved from Waco, Texas. She and Juan Rueda Sanchez Sr. were married in 1944 in Zacatecas, Mexico. He preceded her in death May 17, 2004. A homemaker, Mrs. Sanchez is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville, Texas.

Survivors include six sons, Norberto Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Feliciano Sanchez, Cruz Sanchez, Samuel Sanchez and Juan Sanchez Jr. all of Marietta; two daughters, Berta Gomez and Estela Sanchez of Marietta; and a brother, Jose Andrade of El Paso, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister.

Pallbearers will be Chano Sanchez, Jesus Sanchez, Danny Andrade, Oscar Gomez, Jamie Sanchez and Manuel Sanchez.
