Patricia L. Reed was born October 11, 1946, in Gainesville, TX, the daughter of Burl and Bernice Marie Hallum Reed. She passed away Monday, February 3, 2014, at her residence in Marietta at the age of 67. A resident of the Ardmore, OK area most of her life, Patricia had also lived in Oklahoma City, OK and Dallas, TX. 
 
She had been employed as a cake decorator in several bakeries and delicatessens. Patricia enjoyed making and decorating cakes for friends, especially wedding cakes. She loved spending time with her family, most of all her great nieces and nephews. Miss Reed was of the Assembly of God faith.
 
Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Lester Doyle Reed in 1980.

She is survived by two brothers and sister-in-law, James B. Reed and Raymond D. and Jane Reed, all of Marietta; sister and brother-in-law, Reba M. and Bill Flanagan of Ardmore; and nieces and nephews, Tammy Roberts, TaShonda Fortune, Misty McAfee and Dale Reed. 
 
Serving as casket bearers will be Dale Reed, Greg Fortune, Steve McAfee, Tim Roberts, Don Reed and Trevor Roberts. Honorary bearers will be all of her great-nieces and great-nephews.
